David R. Jarrott
Writer - Producer - Voice, Stage and Film Talent

The difference between success and failure
lies fundamentally in the presentation...

...It's just that simple.

David R. Jarrott has been professionally employed in radio and television performance, writing and production for more than forty years.

Currently freelancing as a writer/producer and actor, David has worked as a copywriter and producer for several advertising agencies.

Other favorite productions include King Lear, Twelfth Night, A Cloud of Witnesses (The Drama of the Alamo), The Birthday Party, Le Misanthrope, One, Death of a Salesman, and The Governors.

In addition to a stint as anchor and news producer at KTBC Television in the 1970s, David’s film, industrial and television work includes Room (Cinepraxis), Best, Texas, Grocery (Barstool Productions); Queen Emeraldas, Steam Detectives and other Japanese anime voiceovers for ADV Films, Footsteps and Good Rockin’ (PBS); Information Brokers and Panic in the City (IBM).

A veteran of radio and television broadcasting, David is in the Texas Radio Hall of Fame’s Hall of Honor.

The Awards

One of David’s highest achievements was winning a Telly award for an animated 30-second television public service announcement promoting propane as an alternative fuel source; the Telly is an international award representing the highest achievement for non-network television commercials and programs and non-broadcast video and film productions. A 13-minute educational video entitled "Way Cool Fuels" was a Telly finalist in 1997, and David has also won other national awards, including a national Addy for a radio commercial.
