Well, I just knew the inspectors would find something. Everyone knew it. I mean, when one takes such a small area, and is really looking -
really fine tooth combing - for something, they're 'gonna find something.
I was all for this inspection thing when I first learned of it. But, naturally, like anyone in the same position, I feared the results, and what they would mean in
the grand scheme of things if they found something. And then, when I started considering that the inspectors made absolutely no mention of exactly
what they were looking for, I became skeptical.
"Face it...", I said to myself "...the place needs 'bombing', not 'inspecting' !! A good bombing, indeed -- and THEN ... MAYBE ... send in the
inspectors. But the inspectors DID come, and just like everyone predicted, they found something.
So, what now ... ???
Well, despite all my fears, I got the loan. That's right, my little condo which I've owned and heavily lived in for over 23 years, passed its refinance
home-loan application inspection and appraisal this past week, and all my fears are over.
Think of it. It passed, and I didn't even have to bug-bomb the joint. Oh, the inspectors DID find a little falling sheet rock, and other assorted 'cosmetic'
problems ... but they're only considered, ahh, 'minor' violations. At least I didn't have any NUKE-YUH-LER weaponry. I got the loan.
By the way, what the heck did you think I was talking about?
